Peer counseling
One of the hardest problems persons with disabilities face is going through a psychological crisis. Internationally, this is addressed through “peer counseling”: conversations between persons with disabilities.

Examples from our work
- The Independent Living Support Department’s “peer counseling and conversations” service
- The first Independent Living Program, supported by the international organization Mercy Corps (2012)
Training and information
We regularly provide training and information to help persons with disabilities live independently, find work and take a fuller part in society. Training is planned around our members' needs and interests, and we share everyday information, as well as information on relevant laws and public services, online.
