Universal Progress ILC · Independent Living Center

For a society where everyone can live independently and with equal rights

Every person with a disability has the right to plan their own life and make their own decisions.

Since 2010

Turning the right to independent living into real support

We support people's choices and participation through personal assistance, peer counseling, training and advocacy.

How we work

Three areas of work built around people's choices

Every service works toward one goal: strengthening human rights, independent decision-making and equal participation in society.

Independent Living Support Department

Through personal assistance services, peer counseling, peer conversations and the Independent Living Program, we help each person plan their own daily life and make their own decisions.

More than 40 participants, including wheelchair users, pose for a group photo in front of the banner of the seminar 'Opportunities and Conditions for Independent Living'.

Inclusion Department

Members' Social Participation Program

We expand opportunities for equal participation in society through advocacy, employment support and member development activities.
